Miles of Art

What kind of paint do you use and do you varnish the mural?
I always use acrylic paint when I paint, also outdoors.
According to varnishing, it is not always necessary, but I am happy to do it if you think it is for the best.
Outdoors, varnish is always applied due to wind and weather. Here I use either spray, varnish or a liquid varnish that I apply with a brush. When painting a cellar shaft, a very light layer of spray varnish is used, as the wall must still be able to "breathe".
Indoors, I use spray paint in either matt or glossy, as desired. For surfaces that often need to be wiped down, or for example a climbing wall where there is wear and tear, I use a water-based floor varnish.
The spray paint may smell a little, but the smell disappears quickly with good ventilation. The floor varnish smells minimal, and again, the smell is gone in a flash when ventilating.
